The Bettye Davis East Thunderbird Marching Band is the only marching band in Anchorage. Though other high schools are planning on starting one. The band performs at all home football games and competes in competitions throughout the state. Band rehearsals start in the summer as the marching season is very short.

For the 2025-2026 school year, there will be four football games and we are planning on competing in two marching competitions. Please see the Summer Marching Band Calendar for dates and practice times starting in mid July.

Please fill out the Summer Registration Calendar so that we can communicate with you throught the summer and that we can plan our instrumentation for drill writting purposes.
